Having highly trained and skilled employees adding
value to business is just one side of an equation.

UTE ENGINEERING
is adding value to the other side
by ensuring that our employees can manage
mind and body
to be more
efficient and effective
in our processes

Employee Safety has many dimensions and having control of their own minds is an often-forgotten criterion for success. Clinical Psychologist Ms. Rekha Aththidiye from the University of Colombo, was invited to speak about how to handle stress & anxiety and how to control our thoughts and behavior during situations where we feel stressed and anxious. She also explained how stress, anxiety and many other conditions could be avoided and overcome by one simple meditation exercise for a brief period of 5 minutes a day.

Just try sitting in a comfortable position keeping your back at a 90-degree angle, close your eyes and focus on your inhaling and exhaling process. If you can avoid any thoughts coming into your mind then you have already mastered the major part of mind control but to start with just imagine a candle with a flame and focus your mind on only the flame avoiding any other thoughts during this time.

All of us at UTE Engineering wish you a healthy life!
