Value addition at UTE Engineering is through finding innovative solutions that meet our customers needs. It is through our highly trained and skilled employees that we add value. Our investment is in our employees so their safety is not optional.

With the dawn of the new year, UTE Engineering has taken even bigger steps towards improving and promoting safety among its employees. “Not all accidents are preventable but ensuring that our employees are safe when they occur is the key to ensuring their well-being” said Riyad Ismail CEO of UTE whilst welcoming participants to the first of many formal Safety Programs to be conducted.

“Whilst UTE’s record of safety is commendable, it is not enough” stated the new HR Manager Ms. Arline Vidyasharan.

One key aspect of ensuring safety is to understand how accidents can happen. Mr. Senaka Gamage, Sub Inspector- Traffic Police Department of Sri Lanka, was the guest speaker who made a presentation on road user safety.

From this month, all existing and incoming employees will have continuous education and also assist in making UTE Engineering proud of its safety record.
