- More efficient power train, hydraulic fan and new radiator increase ambient capability up to 23 percent.(1)
- Purpose-built Desert Arrangement includes added cooling performance and more protection for working in extremely sandy or abrasive conditions.
- Optional cab-mounted air conditioning condenser supports better system performance, improved engine cooling and serviceability.
- Easier maintenance access with wider engine panel doors and optional bottom guard access panels.

Ease of Operation
- Optional electro-hydraulic controls reduce operator effort, improve precision and response, and enable Cat Connect GRADE technologies.
- New optional Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)(2) places machine data, settings menus, grade control data and more conveniently in front of the operator.
- LCD display is rear-camera-ready for added safety.

Cat Connect Technologies
- Cat Slope Indicate (Standard – with electro-hydraulic controls) displays real-time machine cross-slope and fore/aft orientation on the primary monitor, helping operators work more accurately on slopes.
- Automatically maintain established blade slope with Cat GRADE with Slope Assist (Optional – requires electro-hydraulic controls). Finish jobs faster, with better surface quality and significantly less operator effort. No additional hardware required.
- Versatile, scalable Cat AccuGrade™ (Optional – requires electro-hydraulic controls) is a dealer-installed grade control system. Choice of Laser, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) or Universal Total Station (UTS) so you get the right level of accuracy to match your job requirements.
